I came to Nancy with two areas of focus: confidence as a leader & building strong relationships with my peers. During the course of the programme I was able to make strides in both areas. I learned what I want & what I need to be successful in my role… I was able to get buy-in to make team structure changes that will better serve my team, our business, & my own career. After a recent promotion into a product leadership position, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Nancy through the Seed Leadership coaching program. Over the course of the program, we worked on a number of activities designed to build stronger relationships and improve team performance through coaching and feedback. I enjoyed the program's personalized approach, which focused on building an action plan specific to my objectives. The program provided great insight into how the behaviors and approaches that have guided my product management career could be adapted to a leadership role.

Nancy is an excellent coach and I highly recommend Seed Leadership to anyone looking for a personalized, one-on-one coaching program to strengthen their leadership skills. 

Through the sessions I have been able to make good progress… especially related to dealing with conflicts and difficult personalities as well as executive presence…. I faced some people related challenges at work, and Nancy was very helpful to think-through and brainstorm on potential options to deal with challenge at hand. Of many of Nancy’s traits, one specific one I want to call out is her ability to ask thought provoking questions with certain level of candor that will push the individuals to deeply reflect and identify the crux of the issues they are grappling with. My advice to anyone wanting to up-level their leadership toolbox and to work on your development areas in a risk free environment, engaging with Seed Leadership / Nancy is a great investment in yourself that will pay great dividends for you in your career journey. 

I'm so grateful to have had an opportunity to work with Nancy when I was at an important crossroad in life a few months ago. I was juggling through many professional and personal options, and was in dire need for more clarity in life and effective decision making… Nancy is super personable and our initial conversation just clicked… I learned to develop new perspectives when approaching ambiguous problems and started to discover a pattern of how I make decisions myself. I'm so thankful to have an opportunity to work with Nancy on her 90 day leadership program... Over these 90 days, I learned to take advantage of my strengths and work on the opportunities identified. Even though there is structure to this course, at the end of the day it depends on how you want to drive it to help you get better. In terms of my attitude, in terms of my language, I have come to better understand how I can improve, and I am improving because the feedback I've been getting has shown that I am improving. I was lucky enough to take part in the Seed Leadership program as part of my personal development plan… The sphere of influence sessions, in particular, were great for building up feedback loops amongst peers - this took me out of my comfort zone a little but was really worthwhile! I have a renewed confidence in my ability to communicate more effectively with colleagues across all levels of seniority. This has helped achieve buy-in at project level and build trust through greater collaboration.
